That I live for, even die for
As the sun rises every morning
And the dusk settles every night
Deep in my heart I felt a longing
For my true love to come running
He'd have roses and a kiss
To melt the ice around my lips
And in my heart since I discovered
The path of true love is fraught with danger
So many tigers every which way
And in the moonlight, there is anger
As my past loves flash before me
Can that darkness be behind me
In the shadows of my life past
And in this moment can I move on
To a day which can be lighter
Instead of anger, there is laughter

Of this new life which lies before me
